You guys, did you know Burt’s Bees has a NEW line of all natural LIPSTICKS? And every one of them are just as moisturizing and soothing on the lips as their lip balms. Actually, they don’t even feel like lipsticks on your lips but like lightweight lip balms.
During Christmas, to my absolute surprise, I was sent all 14 gorgeous shades of the Burt’s Bees new Lipsticks $8.99 Available at Target. And what good timing too, because as you’ll see from the photos below, my lips are, during the colder months, always chapped. The Nile Nude, my absolute favorite lipstick from this line, has become my go-to everyday color. It keeps my lips soft and hydrated, and it’s creamy enough to cover up my gross flaky bits throughout the day.
Below, I’m excited to share with you, what Burt’s Bees Lipsticks look like on the face!

Burt’s Bees Lipstick shade swatches in the order of appearance.
In the following pics, my lips were lined with MAC Stripedown, a neutral brown shade, before filling in with the Burt’s Bees Lipsticks. Since photos & videos washes out colors, all of the shades were applied/swatched 4 times per lip. All images were grabbed from a video with indoor lighting, thus no flash was used.
1) SUEDE SPLASH – 502
A medium brownish mauve everyday nude.
2) BLUSH BASIN – 501
This is my least favorite shade from this line because of how chapped my lips are right now.
Blush Basin is the only sheer lipstick from this line, a peachy-pinkish sheen, and although I liked how hydrating it felt on the lips, I could still see my lips peeling through it. The red areas on my lips are where the skin was peeled off…told you, I have seriously dry lips right now!
3) NILE NUDE – 500
My favorite from the whole line! If you like light nude lips, get this one!
Nile Nude, a light beige-y nude. It reminded me of the shade Kim Kardashian used to wear. This creamy shade will make your lips look hydrated, bigger and fuller, but you’ll definitely need a lipliner!
4) SUNSET CRUISE 523
A pretty, medium coral shade. The color looks more muted in person. I love how this brightened up my whole complexion. This shade also films quite well, dear YouTubers & Instagramers!
5) MAGENTA – 511
Medium red’ish fuchsia shade.
6) FUCHSIA – 512
This Medium Light, Purple’ish Pink shade looks so much darker & more muted in person.
7) ICED IRIS – 510
I loved this creamy bubble gum pink, but didn’t like the brown lip liner that I used with it.
8) JUNIPER WATER – 531
A vampy oxblood, burgendy-red shade, it’s so glossy on the lips! Such a sexy lipstick for winter, you guys!
9) BRIMMING BERRY – 514
This dark red shade is more on the brown’ish side and just as shiny as the above shade.
10) LILY LAKE – 530
A medium brown’ish mauve. More pink’ish than SUEDE SPLASH. A 90s color, which is trending.
11) TULIP TIDE – 515
Wearable cool pink’ish nude. I didn’t like the brown lipliner I used with this pretty color though.
12) RUSSET – 532
Dark, vampy “brown’ish red.” Very hydrating with a satin-glossy finish. Did I mention how sexy this makes you feel?
13) RUBY RIPPLE – 521
Medium Dark Red. This looks darker in person and it makes your teeth look SO white omg!
14) SCARLET SOAKED – 520
Medium red with Coral undertone. This color is more muted in person, and it films & photographs beautifully.
Finish is glossy looking on the lips, and it did really amazing things to my skin tone. PS it doesn’t make your teeth look yellow too, and at this point, I stopped applying the brown lipliner so you can as well! 😀
Let me know your favorite shades below, which one would you wear? 😀
